This coffee donates 10% of proceeds to the Foundation of Hope. Dark, sweet, complex, and bold, this coffee was crafted in 2010 for Kitty Kinnin and the Foundation of Hope. It's the kind of cup that rewards you the longer you sit with it: Sumatra's rich earthiness melding with the bright berry notes of unwashed Ethiopia, dark-roasted Bolivia weaving in a creamy body and a thread of chocolate that carries through a long, lingering finish. But every bag of Bad Kitty carries something beyond what's in the cup. 10% of proceeds goes to the Foundation of Hope, a North Carolina organization funding critical research into the root causes and treatments of mental illness and working hard to reduce the stigma around it. Larry's Coffee believes everyone with mental illness deserves successful treatment and community acceptance. That belief tastes like this.
