Bill Binder’s legendary palate strikes gold again. A recent alliance with Willett Distillery unlocks an archive of staggering historical gravity. These carefully curated casks stem from clandestine experimental runs, representing pivotal moments in modern distillation logic. The resulting whiskey is completely absurd. It’s a wildly uncompromising liquid that absolutely demands your complete, undivided attention from the very first drop, challenging everything you thought you knew about traditional Kentucky maturation.
Expect a monumental collision of intense wood influence and refined distillate. Nine brutal Kentucky summers force an unyielding dialogue between the spirit and charred American oak. The color alone borders on ridiculous. This prolonged extraction creates a remarkably viscous texture, draping the palate in heavy oils and intricate esters that fiercely defy conventional bourbon expectations while elevating the foundational grains. The sheer concentration speaks volumes.
- Aged nine years in charred American oak
- Bottled at a formidable cask strength
- Sourced from highly experimental distillation batches
- Yields an undeniably thick, oily mouthfeel
