Hawaiian Isles Coffee Hazelnut is a light-roast, ground Arabica blend infused with sweet, nutty hazelnut flavor for a fragrant, island-inspired cup.
Enjoy a coffee that blends carefully selected Arabica beans with a delicate hazelnut profile and a light roast that highlights bright, approachable notes. Packaged in an 8-ounce bag and vacuum sealed after roasting, this offering from HAWAIIAN ISLES COFFEE ROASTERS CO. aims to deliver a fresh, aromatic beverage you can brew at home, at work, or on the road.
What does the hazelnut flavor taste like in a light roast?
The hazelnut infusion adds a sweet, toasty nuttiness that complements the light roast’s naturally lively acidity and subtle floral tones. Because the roast is light, the coffee keeps more of the bean’s original character while the flavoring provides a smooth, dessert-like finish without overpowering the cup.
- Sweet and nutty hazelnut aroma that enhances each sip
- Light roast preserves bright, delicate bean notes
- Balanced finish suitable black or with milk/cream
- Works well brewed hot or poured over ice
How should I brew this ground coffee for the best results?
This ground coffee is versatile for common home methods—drip machines, pour-over, French press, and pour-over iced brewing all work well. Match grind size and brew time to your chosen method: medium grind for most automatic brewers, coarser for French press, and medium-fine for pour-over devices.
- Drip machine: use medium grind, standard coffee-to-water ratio
- French press: use coarse grind, 4-minute steep for fuller body
- Pour-over: use medium-fine grind, slow steady pour for clarity
- Iced coffee: brew double-strength then cool over ice to retain flavor
How fresh is the coffee and how is it packaged?
Each 8-ounce bag is roasted then vacuum sealed to lock in aroma and flavor, helping maintain freshness from roastery to cup. The compact bag is designed for single-household use so you can experience fresher coffee more often compared with bulk containers.
- Roasted and immediately sealed to preserve aromatic oils
- 8-ounce size keeps beans fresh through regular consumption
- Ground for convenience—no home grinding required
- Ideal for sampling the flavor or travel-friendly coffee supply
What occasions and drink preferences does this coffee suit?
