Introduction
Tribute Sauvignon Blanc is a white wine from California, United States, primarily sourced from the North Coast region. The Tribute label is part of the Benziger Family Winery, which established the brand to honour the family's transition to certified sustainable and organic farming after decades of heritage in Sonoma. The winemaking philosophy focuses on 'sustainable excellence', utilizing vineyards that are certified under the Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing (CCSW) program to ensure land stewardship and water conservation.
Wine Description
This wine displays a pale straw colour with brilliant clarity. The sensory profile is highly expressive and bright, featuring a bouquet of citrus, grapefruit, and lime zest, accented by tropical notes of passion fruit and a touch of fresh cut grass. On the palate, it is light to medium bodied and exceptionally crisp, offering flavours of lemon curd, green apple, and white peach. The structure is defined by a zesty, mouthwatering acidity and a clean, refreshing finish with a hint of flinty minerality.
